After claiming a record seventh MotoGP title last time out, Ducati Rider Marc Marquez will now set his sights on the
Indonesian MotoGP, a circuit he is yet to conquer.
Now with seven MotoGP titles to his name, Marquez moved level with Italian legend Valentino Rossi at the top of the pile.
At the recent Japanese MotoGP, Marquez could only manage second place behind Francesco Bagnaia with a time of +4.196s, while Repsol Honda Rider Joan Mir crossed the line in third place.
In what has been a dominant display throughout the 2025 season, Marquez racked up 11 wins and 15 podiums with an astonishing 541 points to his name with five races to go.
Marquez’ pathway to the top has not been plain sailing and endured numerous injuries since his four-consecutive championship haul between 2016 and 2020.
Then following 11-years with Honda, Marquez joined Ducati where he went from strength-to-strength. Reflecting on his title victory, Marquez expressed that he closed in on his win in a ‘perfect’ way.
"Of course I feel happy but the first feeling is that I feel at peace with myself," Marquez said.
"It was Marc against Marc during five years, Marc against injury, but especially about the mental side was difficult.
"I took super difficult decisions but I closed the circle in the perfect way," he added.
